The museum provides an insight into the spectacular finds of Mammoths from the Ice Age in Niederweningen and shows a large mural of the Wehntal as it must have looked 45,000 years ago. Niederweningen is the most vibrant site of mammoths in Switzerland. The ice ages and climate change of the past 500,000 years are shown with impressive images of the icecap and landscape development.
