In the building of the medieval paper mill, the museum (Papiermühle) presents the history of paper, the origin and development of writing and the process of paper and book production.

The museum also has a remarkable and large collection, some of which is more than a thousand years old.

The exhibitions and authentic workshops, in which production is carried out on old machines, give visitors the opportunity to participate in the production process.
