Basel Puppet Theatre Festival

The eleventh edition of the International Basel Puppet Theatre Festival, Internationale Basler Figurentheater Festival (BAFF!) is dedicated to “Body Images” and is thus highly topical.

The current pandemic confronts us with an inhuman challenge: the distancing of bodies. Touching others is now potentially dangerous. And my body: is it familiar to me? How is it developing? Where are its limits?

At the festival centre on the Münsterplatz square and at eight other places in and around Basel, twenty international theatre formations present these and other aspects of human and social corporeality.
