99th Congress of the Swiss Abroad

Once a year, the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad SwissCommunity (Organisation des Suisses de l’étranger/Auslandschweizer-Organisation) organises a congress for Swiss citizens living abroad.

The  99th Congress of the Swiss Abroad takes place from 18 to 20 August 2023 in St. Gallen. Every year a different region of Switzerland hosts the congress.

The participants meet compatriots from around the world, discuss topical themes, inform themselves about developments in Switzerland, talk about their own experiences and get to know Swiss personalities from the economy, politics, education, arts and other sectors of society.

This year’s plenary session on Saturday is dedicated to the federal elections 2023 in the morning and Swiss culture abroad in the afternoon.
