The museum of Antiquities (Antikenmuseum Basel und Sammlung Ludwig) presents a collection of works of Egyptian, Greek, Etruscan, Roman and Italian art covering a period from the 4th millennium B.C. to the 6th century A.D.

The museum also organizes temporary exhibitions.
