The Museum of Archaeology (Museum für Archäologie) presents a cross-section from pile-dwelling cultures – a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011 – to Napoleon’s battlefield in Canton Thurgau.

Excavation methods above and below water, cooperation with neighbouring disciplines such as botany, zoology or dendrochronology are also vividly conveyed.
