Knights’ House Bubikon

The Knights’ House (Ritterhaus) is considered to be the best preserved building of the Johanitter Order in Europe. Its history goes back to 1192. Today, the House of Knights is a museum.

Museum Buch

The museum (Freilichtmuseum Säge Buch) presents historical handicraft tools and the furnishing of an old schoolroom with accompanying teaching and working materials, a replica of a former waterwheel and the installation of a typical water-powered saw from 1786.

Doll Museum

The museum (Puppenmuseum) shows antique and new dolls, teddy bears, toys, soft toys and numerous other dolls.

Local and Crafts Museum Buchberg

The local museum (Ortsmuseum) and the crafts museum (Handwerksmuseum Gattersagi) work closely together. The local museum presents a complete cooper’s workshop, hand tools and a collection of objects from village life in the countryside. The heart of the Crafts Museum is the almost 100 year old saw and the current exhibition “Samaritans since 1944”.
