Life in the village around 1900 is imitated in the museum (Dorfmuseum im Strohdachhaus).

The main part of the museum and the collection is devoted to the village heritage, agriculture, crafts, school, church, associations, politics, house, yard and garden, family and trade. Objects, pictures, documents and other contemporary witnesses illustrate life in the past and the role of Bernese sandstone.
