The archaeological site shows a model of the the north cathedral, monks’ cells, Geneva in the 6th century, wheat processing, liturgical furnishings of the choir, the 11th-century cathedral, the east cathedral, the Allobrogian tomb, the Roman crypt, the First century building, the bishop’s reception hall and the episcopal Group.

The museum is an affiliate of the Art and History Museum and displays large temporary exhibitions in conjunction with this museum.  It focuses on fine arts including ancient, modern and contemporary art.
