Langmatt Museum

The Museum Langmatt in Baden is unique in the Swiss museum landscape. The Art Nouveau villa houses one of Europe’s most important private collections of French Impressionism.

The villa’s appeal also lies in its presentation of outstanding paintings from art history in authentic rooms surrounded by an idyllic park.

The museum in the Villa Langmatt presents French impressionists and their predecessors, including Bonnard, Boudin, Cézanne, Corot, Degas, Gauguin, Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, and Sisley, as well as French painters from the 18th century. Furniture, porcelain, silver, and ceramics from other European countries present the way of life of the wealthy family Brown.

The museum presents several exhibitions throughout the year.
