Gruyères Castle

The castle-museum (Château de Gruyères) reveals the history and culture from the Middle Ages till today. The castle was built around 1270 and the impressive architecture still dominates the landscape. The baroque interior and rich decoration of paintings, ceramics, glassware and other works of art on display, including works by Corot and Menn.
