The Kunsthalle presents contemporary art and organizes exhibitions in this field.

The museum (Museum im  Zeughaus) collects, preserves and documents equipment, weapons, vehicles and musical instruments of the Swiss Army that were used in the 19th and 20th centuries and makes them accessible to the public.

Florentine Ariosto Jones (1841-1916), a watchmaker from Boston, founds the International Watch Company in 1868. He draws on the help of eminently qualified Swiss watchmakers, modern technology, and hydropower sourced from the nearby River Rhine to manufacture watches of the highest possible quality. The museum shows the historical timepieces and the rich history of IWC.

The museum shows the lives of the two pioneers Heinrich (1805-1874) and Henri (1844-1923) Moser.
